Personally, I would pick up the check here and there to help ease the burdon of one person always paying the bill. Before we were married, my now husband really enjoyed my picking up the tab once in a while. We both earn about the same amount of money, so it wasn%26#039;t that one of us had more than the other, it was just courtesy, in my opinion.
Reply:Personally, while I have no problem treating him to dinner or a movie from time to time, I%26#039;m still tradtional. If you can%26#039;t afford to take me out to dinner, the least you can do it cook something at home.

Reply:I earn more than my fiance just now, as he progresses through the levels at work and he will end up earning a lot more than me, he still buys me things, he pays for dinners out etc, but on the other hand I pay the bills and the council tax, he doesn%26#039;t pay any bills except his half of the rent and his travel expenses to get to work, I think that works out fairly. We both contribute equally but in different areas. I also pay for my fair share of drinks if we go to the pub.
Reply:I would still buy her stuff but I would expect her to pick up the check a few times and pay for a few rounds. My girlfriend is in school and has no job so I buy everything and it gets very old spending over $100 for one night out on the town. I think there should be an agreement made for money.
Reply:Me and my bf have been dating for almost 2 years.. When we first starting dating he was the one with allthe money since i was stil going to school. After about a year of us dating, I graduated school and starting working. I was making more money then he was and I really didnt have any bills. Every once and a while I pay for stuff, even if its just a burger and fries at MCD%26#039;s. Everything counts. But if its not like you are buying her flowers with ur rent money, I would still do it. Girls love to get things. You can always ask her to, believe me I would rather that my bf asked me before he did some of the things he did. good luck
